The Corrs are an Irish pop-rock/folk-rock band formed in 1990 in Dundalk, County Louth, Ireland, made up of four siblings, Andrea Corr – lead vocals, tin whistle, mandolin, ukulele; Sharon Corr – violin, vocals, keyboards, Caroline Corr – drums, bodhrán, percussion, vocals, piano. Jim Corr – guitar, piano, keyboards, vocals.
Their sound blends contemporary pop and rock with traditional Irish musical elements. They broke through internationally in the mid-1990s and have sold over 40 million albums worldwide.
They were active from 1990–2006, took a long break, then reformed in 2015 and continue to record and tour.
