SPOKANKI are an experimental vocal-performance ensemble blending a cappella polyphony, folk traditions, theatre, comedy, and world music into what they describe as an “ethno-avant-garde” live show. The group presents itself as “eight sisters from the mystical land of "SpokanLand,” using elaborate characters, multilingual singing, and unconventional staging as part of their performances.
